About DataMatrix
DataMatrix packs the most data per square millimeter of all common codes and reads reliably down to a few millimeters in size. It is mandatory on prescription medicines in the EU (GS1 DataMatrix with GTIN, batch, expiry and serial number) and standard for DPM — direct marking with laser or dot peen on tools and components.
