Print settings (PDF/EPS vector)
BWR compensates for dot gain on press — bars are drawn narrower in the file so they come out right on paper. Ask your printer for the recommended value (typical: 10–40 μm offset, 0 for thermal labels). Applies to PDF/EPS; SVG exports in black and white for screen use.
PDF/EPS are true vector with CMYK and BWR — press-ready. PNG/JPG export in high resolution for screen and office printers.
About Pharmacode
Pharmacode (Laetus Pharmacode) is printed on medicine cartons, leaflets and labels so the packaging line camera system can verify that the right material is used. The code represents a number between 3 and 131,070 and can be read in any direction at very high speed.
It is not intended for regular handheld scanners — it is purely a production-control code.

Why does my handheld scanner not read Pharmacode?
Pharmacode is made for the fixed cameras of packaging lines, not for retail. Most handheld scanners have the symbology disabled or lack support.
Does the color matter?
Yes — Pharmacode is often printed in the package’s spot colors. Contrast against the background is what counts; export in CMYK and align with your printer.
